Space Research Gives Us Understanding of the Environment

Environment refers to everything that exists in and around a physical place. In this case the natural environment or entire natural world encompasses everything living and non living things taking place naturally, which means outside of human influence. The word is most frequently used to describe the Earth or parts of the Earth. All other areas that exist are known as “special” or “natural”.

With regards to the earth system, environmental scientists spend their time looking for evidence of pollution and attempt to make broad observations. They also take a look at how the earth’s surface and atmosphere are maintained. In order to understand the natural world more fully, they use telescopes and satellites. They examine the natural processes that occur without human interference and attempt to explain these events using scientific theories and mathematics. These theories are based on observation and research.

An environment is made up of living organisms, their environments and the earth’s crust and atmosphere. The environment of any given area is made up of different types of organisms. For example, there are oceanic ecosystems, wetland ecosystems, habitats that hold fish, amphibians, birds and mammals and so on. Every environment needs different types of organisms and leaves behind different types of remains. These remain can include dead plants and animals, soil, rocks, and so on.

The study of the earth and its environment is also used to study how living organisms interact with one another and the environment. These interactions can affect the climate, food chain, and so on. Studying the Earth and its environment is necessary for understanding the reasons for some environmental issues. For instance, a change in weather or tide caused by global warming may be attributed to the interaction between oceanic ecosystems, land masses, polar regions and global climate.

Natural environments are those environments which exist without human intervention or that are part of natural systems. For example, the biosphere ecosystems that exist within living organisms, the ecosystems that exist in a particular geosphere and the ecohydrologic systems that define water cycles. Unlike constructed environments, natural environments do not necessarily come in a closed system, but rather they consist of a variety of naturally occurring systems. One good example of a natural environment is the Evergreen forest. This type of forest exists since ancient times and has sustained its ecological qualities even under severe alteration.

There are many environmental issues that need to be discussed about the environmental science and space research. These include climate change, global warming, space pollution, hazardous wastes, hazardous liquid wastes, invasive species, animal diseases, hazardous wastes, space debris removal, among many others. Understanding the nature of the environment is essential in order to solve many environmental issues. The focus on space research needs to include satellites and observatories to monitor the environment in detail and to also provide important information about space, astronomy and remote science.
